OK, so this is my first dip into blogger.com through Google Apps. We are going to look at this for DT@blackwood primary who wants to use it for his Year 6 pupils at first.

It's been a great day today starting at Deri View Primary, haven't been up there for a while so it was good to catch up with the acting HT. There are still a few issues to sort out with the iPads and networking. This has not been helped by the fact that the chap from SRS who helped set it up has left the company!

After some testing I've come to the conclusion I knew all along. The school/curriculum network isn't fit for purpose and we would be better off going back to the Apple Airport Basestations we used off the Admin network. If we can get MDM access through this then the school will be in a good place - well better place.

Next up was a meeting with DT and Gav @ Blackwood. Plenty going on here including an interesting project for a school TV channel!

Lastly I went see (my) Digital Leaders at Pantside for a QR Code session. Fab way to end off the day.
